Homotope w/ Exomatik | 12.01.23 | Episode #036

Exomatik’s set marks the 36th episode of Flow Radio One. A collage of Techno as cold as ice, it shimmers with unique timbres and textures. A constant tension is maintained throughout the set except for sparse moments of release such as when they drop their new track “Cantor” mid-set or upon ending with a trance-y twist. Learn more about Exomatik and their new three track Techno EP “Homotopy” on our blog

Void | 8.6.23 | Episode #034

Meditative and hypnotic, Void’s Techno mix for Flow Radio One marks the 34th episode in our series. Void says the intention behind the set was to create a peak time mix which begins at a slow, hypnotic pace that eventually builds towards a hard, psychedelic, and tribal peak. Synkope with YAK | 2.9.23 | Flow Radio One Episode #014

'Ethereal funk' would be the phrase most apt to describe this hour long journey of  hypnotic, groovy techno. Berlin based artist YAK’s first mix for flow radio one is a lesson in subtle and organic techno mixing at an intermediate pace which creates the feeling of a sound constantly evolving yet pounding with groove.

SuperB hosted by boy_c0ded | 2.7.23 | Flow Radio One Episode #013 | “Low Tier God (LTG) Bukem - Drumlantis”

Drumlantis is a return to form for boy-c0ded, an exercise in mixing fundamentals and their signature narrative format. this set is a love letter to fighting game streamer Low Tier God and spreading a positive mentality over classic DnB and jungle beats. LOVE YOURSELF, NOW!

Konterbunt Radio with JOAR | 2.3.23 | Flow Radio One Episode #012

Escapism with Satic | 2.2.23 | Flow Radio One Episode #011

Strongly influenced by the DIY ethos of the raw and mental techno styles of the early 2000’s, and with a foot in both the digital and hardware world, Satic is slowly finding his own sound. His productions are defined by styles with a percussive edge, usually containing only a few synths, samplers and a groovebox, each pushed and processed in unconventional ways, while his DJ sets usually feature 3 decks and heavy layering. Strong influences of his recent work include SP23, Pounding Grooves, Jeroen Search, Jeff Mills, Regis and Surgeon.

Limit Infitum with dRa MaTiK! | 2.1.23 | Flow Radio One Episode #010

Definition (Limit Infimum): The lowest bound of a sequence as it approaches infinity; the bottom of the infinite.

Inspired by the logical yet expressive nature of mathematics, Limit Infimum by MaTiK seeks to reach into the absolute depths of hypnotic groove. With a focus on improvisation, simplicity, and resonance, MaTiK attempts to correlate the misunderstood elegance of mathematics with the calculated rhythms of techno.  Limit Infimum represents a dive into the deep, a gaze into the infinite bottom where one might find themselves hypnotized.

Synthetic Sentiments with Conor Francis | 2.1.23 | Flow Radio One Episode #009

Steady, hypnotic, and slightly tripped out, this set marks the fifth mix recorded for Conor Francis’ radio show Synthetic Sentiments. An exercise in lower BPM groove techno, the set was built around Jerome Sydenham’s Vocal Dub of Carl Craig’s ‘Angel’, “That rich, subtly delayed chord stab over what I think is one of the fattest low ends I’ve come across is pure narcotic bliss. While listening to it on repeat over winter break I decided to create a set that would both build up to and augment that deep Detroit grooviness present in ‘Angel’”.
